One of the oldest settled places of North America, the Presidio, Texas/Ojinaga, Mexico region known as La Junta de Los Rios is both a complex political environment and a beautiful oasis in the Chihuahuan Desert. These photographs and maps were made in 2009 by youth living on this border as a way to complicate the often stark and singular way the border is depicted. A series of twelve postcards were created to share the intimate relationship they hold with this place.
